The rules for using PactMeter. They exist to protect other customers, the people named in the documents you upload, and the service. They are part of the terms of service.

  1. 1. Use it for your own commercial records

Upload agreements and records your business is entitled to hold and process, and use the findings to check what your own suppliers owe you. Do not upload material you have no right to use, and do not use the service to check someone else’s contracts without their authority.

  2. 2. Do not

    • Probe, scan or test the service’s security, or access data that is not yours, except under a written agreement or a good-faith report described on the security page.
    • Overload the service, or work around its rate limits, upload limits or workspace boundaries.
    • Upload malware, or content designed to manipulate the system (for example text written to instruct the software to change an amount).
    • Upload special-category or unrelated personal data (health, biometric, government identifiers) that the product does not need.
    • Make a claim to a counterparty that you know is unsupported, or use the product’s output to misrepresent facts. PactMeter produces analysis from the documents you supplied; you decide what to claim and you are responsible for it.
    • Resell or rebrand the service without written permission.
  3. 3. Consequences

We may pause a workspace that breaks these rules or endangers others, and will say why and what would restore it, except where the law or an urgent security need prevents us.
