Cookie policy

Status of this text. It describes how the product actually behaves during its pilot stage. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer, and the operator details below may be incomplete. Nothing here is legal advice. The operator’s registered legal name and address have not been set on this deployment.

This lists every cookie PactMeter sets, what it is for, and how to control it. There are no advertising, marketing or third-party cookies, and no other browser storage (no local storage, session storage or fingerprinting).

  1. 1. What is set

    CookieWhat it doesCategoryLasts
df_session (production: __Host-df_session)First party, HttpOnlyKeeps you signed in, or keeps a demo session. The value is a random token; the server stores only its hash.NecessaryUp to 14 days (demo: 1 day), or until you sign out
df_consentFirst partyRemembers whether you allowed the analytics cookie, so we do not ask again and do not set it without permission.Necessary180 days
df_fsFirst party, HttpOnlyAn anonymous random identifier that lets us count how many visitors reach each step (visit, scan, sign-up). No personal data, not shared.Analytics (only if you allow it)30 days
  2. 2. Your choice

The first time you visit you are asked to allow or refuse the analytics cookie; the two buttons carry equal weight and nothing optional is set before you choose. You can change your mind at any time. Refusing changes nothing about how the product works. Withdrawing consent deletes the analytics cookie.

  3. 3. Sign-in with Google

If this deployment offers “Continue with Google”, Google’s sign-in script is loaded from Google only on the sign-in, sign-up and Settings pages, and Google may set its own cookies while you use it. Nothing is loaded from Google anywhere else on the site, and the script is not loaded at all where Google sign-in is not offered.

  4. 4. Browser controls

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking the necessary cookies means you cannot stay signed in.

  5. 5. Who is responsible

InfinityOre sets these cookies. See the privacy policy for how personal data is handled.
